Guitar & Ukulele Classes

Imagine your child walking into music class where curiosity counts as much as clean chords and every try is a step forward.

They’ll get:

  • Encouraging, specific feedback that turns effort into progress and a lifelong love of music.
  • Song-first learning: real tunes from week one. Ukulele’s small size gives quick wins for smaller hands; guitar builds versatile skills for any style.
  • A safe, welcoming space to experiment, make mistakes, and try again.
  • Development-aware teaching activities matched to attention span and motor skills, building rhythm, reading, and creativity.
  • Community and confidence through duets and small-group jams.
  • Clear milestones: simple practice plans, monthly “wins,” and mini-performances to celebrate growth.

With personal attention and a focus on who your child is, we match lessons to their natural rhythm and curiosity. Nothing beats the spark when a clear first chord lands and they say, “I can do this.”

ABC Music Academy

Your Journey in Music Starts Here

Start or restart your Guitar/Ukulele journey with lessons designed just for you. We combine the basics like reading music, rhythm, and technique with creative skills such as chords, improvisation, and ear training. Our clear weekly goals and supportive coaching help you build confidence as you learn each new song. Everyone is welcome, no matter your age.

Private Guitar/Uke Classes

4–6 year olds (“Uke-First” Path)
Who knew growing and learning could be this fun? The ukulele’s small size and friendly chord shapes make it perfect for smaller hands. We sing, move, and strum simple songs that build rhythm, coordination, and confidence while quietly preparing kids for guitar later if they choose. Reserve your spot for our upcoming session!

Parent/Child Strum Class
Want to learn alongside your child? This class lets parents or caregivers strum right beside their learner. You’ll share quality time and pick up the same chords and rhythms, so supporting practice at home feels natural. We use age-appropriate activities and proven methods to keep things playful, musical, and encouraging. Most families can’t wait to come back each week. Contact us

Ages 7–Teen
Choose Guitar or Ukulele and build solid fundamentals: posture, fretting, clean chords, strum patterns, note reading/tablature, and rhythm. You’ll explore styles from folk and pop to rock and worship. Personalized pointers from our teachers help every student progress, and small group jams offer chances to collaborate, create, and perform.

Teens & Adults: Beginner to Refresh
It’s never too late to start (or restart). Ukulele delivers quick wins and pure fun; guitar unlocks broad, lifelong skills. We match lessons to your goals and pace from week one.

Students will experience

  • Positive, specific feedback that grows skill and confidence
  • Song-based learning with chords, melody picking, and rhythm
  • Development-aware teaching that meets each student where they are

We focus on the person holding the instrument, not just the notes on the page. Nothing beats that first clean chord and the smile that follows: “I can do this.”
