I love helping students find joy and confidence in music. I aim to meet each student at their level and support their growth in music, creativity, and personal development.
I started my musical path with a piano performance scholarship at CU Boulder, then continued my studies at the Eastman School of Music. Along the way, I trained in classical and rock guitar, learned flute from respected college instructors, and studied sound recording and reinforcement. This mix of experiences helps me blend creativity and technical skills in every lesson.
Beyond individual instruction, I spent five years as a Kindermusik educator, teaching a full range of curricula, including Baby Signing, and was honored with the Kindermusik award for operating the second-largest Family Time program out of 5,000 instructors worldwide. I’ve also taught at the Arvada Center, leading programs such as Art Start, Art Sampler, Toddler Music, Music for Little Mozarts, and Kindermusik.
As a performer, I have played at weddings, private events, and community celebrations, and have seen how music brings people together and creates lasting memories. These moments have shown me how music education can build confidence, encourage creativity, and help people connect.
Whether working with a young child discovering rhythm for the first time or an adult returning to music after years away, I’m dedicated to creating a warm, engaging, and supportive environment where every student can thrive.
Let me help you bring your artistic vision to life.
